Attendees assembled over the weekend at the high school in the state to remember Beckstrom.
Both they had been fulfilling duties with the West Virginia National Guard as part of the president’s national effort to assist policing efforts in DC.
Paying Tribute to the Soldier
“Sarah was the kind of student that educators wished for. She behaved with quiet strength, a contagious smile and a upbeat demeanor that lifted those around her,” the principal, the head of her previous school, stated to the media. “She was kind, compassionate and always willing to assist people.”
Funeral plans for Sarah are yet to be finalized.
Judicial Measures and Policy Changes
Officials have accused a twenty-nine-year-old suspect with one count of first-degree murder and charges of violent assault while armed.
The incident caused the government to suspend refugee claims and cease providing entry permits to holders of passports from Afghanistan.
Status of Wolfe
Wolfe, a native of the city, began his service in February 2019 and is a graduate of Musselman high school, per the Associated Press.
He remains under medical supervision and is “battling to survive”, West Virginia leader the governor stated on Fox News Channel’s The Sunday Briefing.
